How to connect web server with FileZilla FTP

  • Download FileZila FTP Client in your PC. Open FileZila software.
  • Click on the file menu, and click on Site Manager.
  • As you will click on the site manager a new page will open. Click on the new site. Enter the name of the new site. In the next step, you need to enter the hostname, then click on protocol and select FTP-File Transfer Protocol from the drop-down menu. After that, you need to enter FTP information like FTP Password, user name, and port. You can get your web hosting from the C Panel. For FTP port mark 21 and SFTP port use 22.
  • Click on connect button after filling in the FTP server information. Now your FileZilla will get connected to the Web Server. Computer files are visible on the left side of the panel. Now you can easily update and upload files on your website with the help of FileZilla.
